Kona Airport:
The Keahole-Kona International Airport (code KOA) has direct flights to, and from, many mainland destinations as well as Japan. Direct flights are also available to the islands of Maui and Kauai, but inter-island transfers to Kona, through Honolulu, are still required and are scheduled less frequently from these islands.
